For those of you who don't know yet, we are having another boy. We found out a few weeks ago. Nick is thrilled and I'm pretty excited too. I think deep down I wanted to have another boy right away. At least we don't have to buy any more clothes for baby boy #2. My pregnancy is going well. I seem to be doing better with my blood pressure this time around than I did with Tanner. Hopefully that will hold out until the end. I get tired quicker and so by 9pm I'm about done for the day. But I'm so excited to see what this baby looks like. Maybe he'll look like Nick, since Tanner sure doesn't.
Nick started up school again a few weeks ago. It was nice having him home for a month so that he could be home with Tanner while I worked. The adjustment was harder for me having him back in school.
Tanner is doing really well. He's cutting his 5th tooth and he's learning to move forward instead of backwards so that he can get to his toys in front of him. He never ceases to amaze me as he learns something new.
I'm working harder than ever now that things have picked up at work. But I'm more excited to come home to be with my family than anything else! I'm looking forward so much more now for Nick to graduate in May so that I can devote my time to Tanner and baby brother.

Happy New Year!
So being that this is a new year, I figured I would do better at keeping family and friends updated as to what's happening in the lives of the Nick and Lani Surdukowski family. Hopefully I'll be able to post regularly, but just keep checking back periodically to see if anything new has come available. So here we are in a nutshell:
Nick has this last semester left before graduation in May. He'll start applying at hospitals around the area and hopefully by the time he graduates, he'll have a job lined up as an X-ray tech. He's still working in the evenings at the Commissary on base stocking shelves.
I'm still working to support our little family. Work has picked up a little and hopefully it will provide me an opportunity to possibly work at home come May. I stay busy with Tanner, and I'm extra tired carrying our second baby. We find out in two days if it's a boy or a girl. We're very excited! I still can't believe I'm already 19 weeks pregnant with our second one! What were we thinking?
Tanner is growing so quickly. He's 6 months old and will be 7 months on January 13. He's been a trooper through illness. He gave us a scare when his temperature soared to 104.2 and the doctors weren't sure exactly what was causing it. But with a shot of antibiotics, he's doing much better. I won't be surprised if he's crawling in the next few weeks. He's already starting to get up on his hands and knees all by himself. He'll rock back and forth. He never ceases to amaze us with all he's learning.
So as you can see, we're busy with our growing family. We've been very blessed and we know that 2008 will be a year full of surprises and fun times. Like I said, check back every so often and hopefully I'll be able to post on a regular basis.
