We got to Nauvoo, Illinois late Thursday night to find that the cabin that I had reserved at this place in town was already full of someone's belonging. It was almost 10pm, so I called the owner and he said to take a different cabin. Thank goodness it wasn't full. During the night, I started to feel not so good. I ended up getting the same stomach virus that we've been passing around the family for the past two weeks. Thankfully we had all day yesterday to just stay in one place, but unfortunately, because I was sick, I wasn't able to go and see all the things that I wanted to. But we did get to see the Nauvoo Pageant! That was fantastic!
We have one more day of travel before we get to our destination. I can't wait. I'm ready to be somewhere for a while.
We'll see how tomorrow goes...
