While The Cat's Away, The Mice Will Play

Okay, so it's been about three weeks since I've been home by myself with three boys. I have to say, it's been rather difficult. Nothing I can't handle, but some days I don't think I can handle it.

Tanner and Spencer decided that now is the time to put things into overdrive and get even more rowdy and rambunctious. Spencer gets into literally everything. If it opens, he can get into it. Even if it doesn't open, he can get it open. Tanner has taken to throwing huge fits. He also has started to talk back a little bit. Oh my! I can't stand that! Spencer is a major instigator. He is always provoking Tanner, and of course Tanner gets really mad at that. Tanner started pushing Spencer over if he is bothering him. He made Spencer's lip bleed yesterday. We always have to watch Thomas the Train or Cars. Those are Tanner's favorite shows. I'm sick and tired of those shows! Bennett likes to fuss a lot. I guess not a lot, but more than the other two ever did. He's much more somber than the other two, but it's still a challenge to have a little one with two others that I have to constantly keep my eye on.

Today, I took Bennett to his one month well visit. I dropped the other two boys off at my mom's and headed for the doctor. Bennett is growing nicely. He's now 9 pounds 13 ounces. He's right in the middle with his height and weight. Like Tanner, he's got a small head. But that's okay, it's not out of proportion. While I was gone, Tanner grabbed my gramma's hot curling iron. He burned his thumb and first finger and the skin in between. So I came back to him screaming. Spencer wouldn't stay out of my mom's nightstand and the bathroom drawers. And the whole time, Bennett is screaming. I know things will get better as Bennett gets older, but man, I'm losing my mind!!!

As of right now, we are done having kids. I don't know if I can handle anymore kids after this. We'll see after a while. But for now, WE ARE DONE!
