Doctor Visits

Took all four boys to the doctor today.  That was a trip.    Thankfully not all four of them had to be checked out today, but I still had to bring them all along.  I have to admit that they all did very well for being crammed into a small exam room.  I didn't have anyone to watch Spencer for me while I took the others, so he came along for the ride.

Tanner has grown a lot in the past year.  He weighs 43 pounds and is about 42 inches tall.  He's in the 95-97th percentiles for both height and weight.  He's a tall kid!  But he's healthy and everything looks great for his growth.  He's also able to move into a booster seat instead of the full-blown car seat.  That's scary for me!  But it was bound to happen.

Bennett is doing some major growing as well!  He weighs 28 pounds and is 34 inches tall.  He's just over average for his height and weight, so that's good.  At least he's not hefty!  I asked the doctor about Bennett's overly bowed legs and she agreed that they did seem a little more bowed than they should be for his age.  She told us to have him stand in his diaper and take a picture of his legs.  Then do it again three months from now and compare the two pictures.  If it looks like his legs are straightening out then they won't do anything until he turns three where they'll check his legs again.  If it looks like they aren't straightening out then she'll send him to the bone doctor to have them take an x-ray and we'll go from there.  Should be interesting.

I take Wyatt back to the doctor next week for his 2 month well visit, and I'll have more growing boys to report on.  So grateful that they are all healthy and growing strong and meeting their milestones at the right times.  That's such a huge blessing we seem to take for granted!
