Wyatt Christopher

We finally welcomed into this world and into our family our fourth little boy.  Wyatt Christopher was born at 3:10pm on May 23, a full week later than his due date.  He weighed in at a whopping 8 pounds 13 ounces, and he measured 21 1/2 inches long!  I felt every single bit of that weight and length while I was pregnant with him!  The labor went smoothly.  It took longer than expected, but once my contractions finally kicked in, things moved very quick.  I got an epidural this time and that made for an very pleasant delivery.

After staying in the hospital for just shy of 48 hours, we came home yesterday.  Our first night home was perfect!  It was different being home as a family of 6, but a very good different!  Wyatt slept well, which gave Nick and I a chance to catch up on some needed sleep.  We'll see how things go from here.

Wyatt is a great eater!  He's the first one of the boys who really hasn't had any feeding issues right from birth.  Sunday evening after leaving the kids with my parents, I asked Nick to give me a blessing before going in to delivery Wyatt the next morning.  In the blessing I was told that things would go well with the delivery and that Wyatt and I would do well during recovery.  Wyatt is amazingly healthy and doing more gloriously than we ever hoped for.  We've had minor health issues with each one of the boys just days after delivering them, so we were hopeful that we wouldn't have any issues with Wyatt.  Thankfully he's fantastic!!  He's such a blessing to have in our family!
