Here It Comes

The other night, I asked Tanner if he wanted to take a bath.  He told me, "Not today."  So I told him that we would take a bath tomorrow morning.  He said, "Okay."  A few minutes later, Tanner turned to me and said, "Bath?  Spencer too?"  I said sure.  So we went upstairs, got the water running, and I had Tanner down to his diaper.  He turned to me and asked, "Potty?"  I said sure.  We usually put Tanner on the potty before he gets in the tub anyway so that he gets used to the potty.  So I get Tanner up on the potty and a few seconds later, Tanner looked up at me and said, "Here it comes!"  A second later he peed!!  Such a big boy to know when he needs to pee.  After the bath, he asked to get back on the potty twice more, and he peed both times!! 

I figure it's time to potty train him.  I was wanting to wait until after we got back from Colorado this summer to start, but since he's feeling when he needs to go, it's probably time to start teaching him.  Yesterday we picked out some big boy underwear, which had to be Cars.  I got some pull-ups to start him with, so now I just need to start doing it.  My little baby is growing up.
