Dear Friends

While I was in Colorado I had the opportunity to see a few old friends.  I was able to go and see the best person in the entire world! 

Jenny and I have been friends since before I turned 8.  We've been through a lot together, and our friendship has had its ups and downs like any other relationship, but through it all, we are as close as can be.  We don't get to see each other but every four years or so, but each time we get together it's like we haven't been apart.  She's pregnant with her second baby, a boy this time, so we shared information about raising boys.  She's going to do great!  Jenny was able to meet my kids, and I was able to meet her adorable little girl!  One of my boys' future wife maybe...  Anyhow, it was fun to see her and to have our kids play together at the park.  Oh how I miss you Jenny!  My only regret was not spending more time with you!

I was also able to see a few of my previous teachers.  First off, I was able to stop in and see my first piano teacher.  It's always great to stop and see her.  She hasn't changed one bit, and that's awesome!  My mom and I had a great visit with her.  I was also able to catch up with an previous school teacher of mine.  When I was in 6th grade, I had the best science teacher ever!  She really made an impact on me, and I've kept in touch with her through the years.  I hadn't seen her since I was 13, so it was great to see her and talk with her face to face.  It was really a great time!
